What is Look • Learn & Do?

Look • Learn & Do, founded by Mark Icanberry, a.k.a. The Professor, is a the source for kids to explore, imagine and discover.

Look • Learn & Do provides absolutely, Amazing Science Assemblies that ignite the imagination of young audiences by combining science, history and adventure with building “extraordinary projects” out of ordinary school and household objects. Schools, Libraries and Youth Programs are constantly seeking The Professor out to bring a Look • Learn & Do Day Event to their kids.

He has also developed the Look • Learn & Do Series of books that combine history, fantasy, and science into exciting adventures for kids. From blimps and greenhouses to telescopes and sailboats, the Look • Learn & Do Series bridges the gap between daydreams and the real world in special ways that make learning fun.

Instead of "teaching" kids, The Professor, challenges kids to
— "Look" at what can be done and find books or sources that help them to
— "Learn" how to develop their imagination and explore possibilities and then
— "Do" experiements and projects to realize what they can imagine.

Along with the nationally syndicated "Project Strip" - Newton’s World project cards:

  • Ten different Newton’s World project cards each with a different activity.
  • One thousand cards will be distributed at each school.
  • Each card will have the Cache Creek’s logo and sponsorship information.
