Name: Eyed Stink Bug

Length: 8.5-12 mm
Recognition marks: Brightly marked
stink bug with the scutellum, corium, and thorax margined
with red, yellow, white or orange, but the color is extremely
variable.
Habitat: Predaceous. This is
an important predator upon the Colorado potato beetles.
Distribution: Common throughout
the United States.
Note: This species has been introduced
into Europe in an attempt to control the Colorado potato beetle
in that area.
